Complementing the articles by Small, Zhu et al, and Parthasarathy in
Nature Methods, I also encourage checking out the recent paper in JCS by
Sebastian Munck et al

Thanks (George) for your mention of my article on high-speed,
high-accuracy single particle localization that appeared in July's Nature Methods.  People on this listserv might find the following
useful:  I've placed a variety of code for the (simple) implementation
of this new method, as well as a particle-tracking graphical user
interface and general routines for testing the accuracy of particle
localization, on my web site at http://physics.uoregon.edu/~raghu/particle_tracking.html .  I hope
that this may be especially useful for super-resolution imaging, as
illustrated in the paper.

best wishes,

Raghu

Dear friends
I would like to thank all of you for attending or promoting www.owls2012.org.
From my viewpoint it was a great conference with high scientific level. You can find abstrcts on the website.

Please, now mark on your Agenda the dates 8-11 september 2013, we will have in Genoa www.maf13.org...details coming soon.
All the best
Alby
