Hello everybody

We are looking to buy a refractometer for our lab, the goal is to measure TDE refractive index for clearing and mounting samples.  Can anybody recommend a good one from experience?  There's many choices available it seems.

Thanks very much in advance,

Yevgeniy Romin

Greetings,

I have been happy with this one for measuring mounting media.

Hi Yevgeniy,
I got one just like this (but perfectly working):

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fisher-Scientific-Abbe-Benchtop-Refractometer-Parts
-or-Repair/292401156681

and was happy with it. Easy to clean, the RI range is from less than 1.3 to
more than 1.6. For $50 it was a good deal :-).

Best, zdenek
