We found two models that look compact (similar size of a wellplate) and user friendly: the Okolab H301-MINI and the Tokai Hit WELSX. Does any anyone has positive or negative experience with one of those? Any feedback to help us make a decision will be highly appreciated. Bioptechs does not make “stage-top box” type incubators. We recognize that live cell imaging environmental control is not a trivial matter. Therefore, we specialize in specimen control not box control. Our systems are available for immediate delivery and are designed to meet the specific requirements of each customer. We make sure our systems are appropriate for your exacting needs including: High magnification, high N.A. compatibility Speed and uniformity of temperature control (RT to 37 in under two minutes) Accurate objective temperature control regulated at the specimen plane not a heating collar. Ability to accommodate nearly any specimen type on any scope upright or inverted A user definable optical cavity Gas and humidity control Perfusion if necessary Positional repeatability Stability in the Z axis plane Additional information on our systems is available at www.bioptechs.com. We have been using them on two microscopes for many years and they have worked very well. We tried the Tokai Hit many years ago and chose the Pathology Devices instead. No experience with the Oko, but we use their microscope cages. Dave Dr. David Knecht Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology Core Microscopy Facility Director University of Connecticut 91 N.
