A problem of using multiwell plates is that the liquid forms a meniscus at the edges of the well - which messes up transmitted light images. Does anyone know of a coating that when applied to the sides of a plastic well would make its surface tension equal to that of water - thereby eliminating the meniscus. Maybe a wetting agent like PhotoFlo 200? Or a layer of mineral oil over the top.
